Khmer Class Information
In order to provide effective teaching and learning, I offer separate speaking and writing classes:
Speaking Class: depending on your needs, you will learn daily speaking and listening to interact with Cambodian people in a casual context (at the market etc.) or you can learn more formal speaking and listening for a work context. There are 2 levels and each level take around 4 months, depending on the student.
Writing Class: we focus on reading and writing the Khmer alphabet. There are four levels and each level normally takes around 3 months, depending on the student.
Both classes is cater as :
– Basic Khmer Language Program
– Intermediate Khmer Language Program
– Advanced Khmer Language Program
I provide both face-to-face and online classes. Face-to-face classes can take place at a coffee shop or your home. In addition, we can do outdoor classes to help you get familiar with using the Khmer language in a real-life context, such as at the market, a museum etc. However, outdoor classes are optional and depend on your preference.
Online Classes can take place on Zoom or google meet etc. You can also combine online and face-to-face classes, depending on your needs.
